I am a 2017 Texprint Winner and recent Textiles Design graduate from Brighton University, specialising in knitwear design. Through my work I enjoy exploring innovative structures and intricate patterns alongside an exploration through color. I often seek inspiration from art and nature. I have the patience and eye for detail and colour.
My final graduate collection draws from David Hockney’s visual journey through printmaking, stage design, paintings and portraits. Innovative knitting techniques, yarn qualities and vibrant colours are explored by creating volume and intricate structures. The chromatic freedom, geometric and natural forms bring a canvas to our imagination through a playful collection of knitted textiles.
During my placement year I enjoyed working for Burberry, Elementi Moda in Milan, Cats Brothers, Katie Jones, The Fashion and Textiles Museum and Helen Lawrence.
